In my opinion and from what I have seen, the graphics in the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online are bad. A real step back. But I don't blame the developers. They want as big a customer base as possible, and not everyone can afford a good graphic card.
But one can dream, right?
So this is my wild imagination... A dream of TESO with Skyrim graphics and same visual style for interface elements.
Character selection screen.
The layout mostly borrowed from World of Warcraft.

They graphics are bad? I don't know what graphics you are looking at, but the graphics I recently saw of the game are just like skyrims.

Although I do not like the character models for Argonians, I would not say the graphics look bad. Also you have to remember that the game isn't finished yet and the graphics have been and will continue to get updated since then. Other footage that I have seen has made it look just like Skyrim, even footage from the video that this picture came from.

i will be honest, i don't see much difference between the online graphics and skyrim other than skyrim's graphics looking, in my opinion, to realistic

I wouldnt consider the one you can see now as final. Due to the fact that its barely Alpha. As far as I know Beta havent even started.
And the devs themselves said that the character models and the environment is NOT finalised by far.
However, I cant imagine it will be as beautifully detailed as in Skyrim, due to the MMO nature. And they must realised the simple reason why WoW was successful (partly), was due to the low computer requirement ^^
So, I guess they will do some balancing. I'll say we can tell when it comes near end of Beta that the graphics and stuff is final. Until then, its a fools errand to compare it and judge it.
